The Aerosol Science and Technology Cluster focuses on improving understanding of aerosol formation and transformation in the atmosphere, engineered systems and public health settings. Researchers use this knowledge to develop new materials and technologies that drive innovation across energy, health care, space, climate and agriculture. This multidisciplinary area brings together atmospheric science, materials engineering, chemical processes, microbiology and medicine, preparing students and researchers to address some of today’s most urgent challenges.
